Fall Colors in NC

Fall color hits the mountains around mid-October, the Triangle late October into early November, and the coast in the first half of November. Warm temperatures and drought may mute things this year, so expect a patchwork. You don't need to drive far for it either... Joyner Park, Falls Lake, Umstead, and the Neuse River Greenway all deliver.
