Hummingbirds in NC

Don't put the feeder away yet. Most ruby-throated hummingbirds leave North Carolina by mid-October, but a full feeder won't keep them from migrating... day length drives that, not food, so leaving it up just helps the late ones. Keep the nectar at one part sugar to four parts water, no dye.
